I have prepaid airtel mobile, i recharged it with rs 98/= for internet pack on 12/12 at 8 pm, after a while i started surfing the net but imdtly the complete balance of rs 85/= from my call account got consumed and internet switched over to internet pack and kept workingi lodged a complaint viz no CBDMO31212536872 and i was assured that my amount will be recredited to my call account but nothing happened and i again called 198 viz ref no PR121300088 dtd 13/12, PR121400188, 14/12, PR 121800043 dtd 18/12/.12, but no response came from airtel, when i again enquired with 198 surprisingly i was told that the charges taken for internet were correct as the system had not activated the internet pack and i should have waited prescisely for one hour for the same if this be so as described above the internet should have stopped automatically after the call account was empty but it was not so, it proves that a company which claims to be the best in india is using unfair trade practice to make profits. In similar incident earlier company admitted that it had made a mistake and refunded my amount. The company does not take fraction of second to charge and activate useless services which unknowingly you subscribe to and there is no system to confirm that any individual wants it or not, and the same company while activating the internet pack is giving all non valid reasons. The response of customer care executive was derogatory as he was more into telling me my lack of knowledge of grammar and english.
