Forcing me to pay landline and broadband bills which i havent used

Dear sir,

I had opted for Broadband and Landline services from Airtel. I used it for couple years and then when i had to move out of the premises as it was rented house i requested for cancellation of the both Broadband and Landline services.

They said it will be done in 6-7 days. I have made payment for last bill and kept my account with 'zero' outstanding amount.

After this cancellation i moved out of that premises. Later after a month i got the bills for landline number.

here are the details :

Airtel Landline No: 08042035668_kk

Account No: 16192197

Upon seeing that i complained them that why im keep receiving bills after cancellation. They said they will be waiving of the amount for their mistake as billing section was not aware that its been cancelled.

ok, later again month i received another bill with added amount of last bill and current bill. When complained they started telling i only cancelled broadband connection and not the Landline, also they started asking me give reference number for cancellation. who will remember after couple months of cancellation of connection. When i started escalating this issue one lady called priya tried to sort out this issue and finally told its been solved they have waived off the amount. I had asked to send me a confirmation on the same. But i didnt receive the mail.

Now again after couple month im receiving mail saying

"FINAL REMAINDER FOR YOUR AIRTEL LANDLINE NO:-080420​35668_kk"

In mail they threatening me that they will go to "Lok-Adalat" and get a legal document for not paying the amount.

Now please i would request to complaint here that why i should pay for their mistake, that they havent taken my request properly and not closed completely. If i had used any of their services im ready to pay but i was not there at all and there was no usage in landline also. Airtel is harrasing me by sending and calling repeatedly over this issue and not solving this.
