Illegal call barring

Sir,

I purchased a connection from AIRCELL by their retailor AWASTHI COMMUNICATIONS, BARABANKI (U.P.) about three months ago. For ID and address proof I submitted photo copy of VOTER ID CARD and PAN CARD. After about three months company posed call barring on my no.(09807404700). When I talked to CUSTOMER CARE, I was surprised to know that my physical verification could not be confirmed. On further quary I came to know that my physical verification was carried in Sitapur (U.P.) whereas I reside in Barabanki (U.P.) This could be due to fault on the part of the company as they do not verify the person prior to selling their services. Due to call barring I have been facing a lot of inconvenience and problems. The company representative had assured me that the services world resume within 24 hours as soon as I submit another copy of my ID proof and an application for removing call barring.

The formality was again completed on March 11. Since then three days have passed and no action on the part of the company has been taken to restore my services.

I, therfore request you to kindly help me and take such measures which make it obligatory for telecom companies to verify the customers before selling their services,
