Mobile number recycled without customer knowledge

My prepaid number 9845237649 has been recycled without my knowledge and without any communication about the same to me by airtel. I tried to get the issue resolved by contacting the customer care airtel call center numbers but did not get quality response and solution. The executives who attended my call informed that my number was recycled due to non submission of documents and disconnected the call when i have been using this number from the part ten years. Another executive informed me that my number was recycled as i had not used the number continuously for 90 days as per the airtel datebase when i have been regularly using the number for calls and messages.

What happened to the unused balance that was in my prepaid a/c? Who will compensate me for the losses that i may will have to go if my clients and customers get diverted to another vendor on failing to contact me on my ten year old number which is byhearted at the tip of the tongue of my clents and customers.

I want proper resolution to my issues and response from a senior officer from airtel for the agony that i have been facing contacting the airtel exceutives.
