I am an Airtel customer with mobile number 9901247297. I have migrated from postpaid to prepaid. I have submitted all the required documents for migration. After 3 days of activity all my incoming and outgoing calls were barred. Even the incoming and outgoing messages were barred. I have raised a complaint with the customer care and it is 3 weeks now. They didnt resolve this issue. I was fed up calling the customer care. they say that all the settings at their end were fine and they have asked me to do some settings on my mobile. I have tried those settings but in vain. Since my incoming and outgoing messages were also barred, I cannot use the mobile number portability. Is it possible to send an SMS from a different number? If I call customer care different people will attend the call and they ask me to give them some time. My alternate contact number is 8105101572. Are these people avoiding mobile number portability by disabling the incoming/outgoing messages/calls? Can you please suggest something to retain this number? Thank you in advance.
