My Mobile number is 8790979671. I have been promised while taking a new connection of airtel prepaid that i can register for blackberry services within a week of taking the connection. Its been almost a month now and i have been hassled to no end to get the services started. I have been charged by customer care while they kept me waiting for taking the call on several occasions and these calls would eventually be dropped. I have visited airtel customer service centre at begumpet and met Mr. Ankit Rajani and left for chennai after taking his assurance. Even he has stopped responding to my messages. I was informed that since my series number is 87 its a problem to register it on network. Had they informed me this at the time of taking th e sim i would have never taken it. The number calls and assurance i have given to airtel CC is enormous and the time i have wasted and money i have spent is ridiculous. It has led me to believe that airtel has CC for prepaid customers only as a sham and customers are deliberately avoided so that they give up calling. I have lost the entire months validity waiting for the connection and dont know what to do with this money i paid them. Please somebody put senses on airtel that the way they are treating customers... THEY WOULD SHIFT TO SOMEONE ELSE... they day number portability comes in. Please help me.
