Lost SIM card

R/ Sir, I had one Air Tel no. having the no.9668504513. But I had lost the phone. While I demanded the same the the company denied to issue me the same no.by saying that the no. is not belongs to me. As the computer data base does not have my name against the no. This is not my fault as the company has entered wrong name against the no. and I am suffering much by not getting the no. Please help me.
