Wrong cancellation of sim

I purchased an airtel sim on 6th jan and i provided my passport as identity proof and no local address proof was demanded by the retailer. Then on 3rd feb i got a sms from airtel that i would have to goto my nearest airtel relationshipcenter and provide a local address proof. I went to the arc on 4th feb evening filled an annexure E form {relating to local address}, on 6th feb iam notified that my sim is cancelled and reason stated was that "NO ADDRESS PROOF PROVIDED" "when called the customer-care i was told that i was did not submit the proof in time ". Also i had 100rs talktime on the sim. Some of my freinds had 300 rs talktim when this happened.

Please suggest me what possible steps i can take
