I am a prepaid airtel customer 9987788858 and i have applied for prepaid monthly blackberry plan 299 since december. In month of Feb, for reasons best known to airtel (they claim it is insufficient balance) my connection was cut off on feb 21 and since then i have been harassed by airtel customer service executives putting me on hold for long time and giving evasive replies, rude personnel at airtel customer service centers (lower parel mumbai) and simply no solution to matter even though complaints are made to nodal officer, apellate etc. I have now written to DoT wiht complaint. It is 10 days now and still there is no solution, instead rude people at customer service are forcing me to shift to postpaid because of which my billing will increase substantially. I dont want to go to postpaid. I prefer prepaid and when i say this they treat me like im a beggar and shoo me away. There is simply no responsible reply frmo airtel executives and i am now even going to lodge complaint with consumer redressal forum.
