Call diverting not working

I have been using air tel connection since 2007 (mob no.9971913866). But from past 6 months I am facing a problem that while I am diverting the call on the other number it is showing activated but if somebody is calling me then it is showing this number does not exist & during the switched off period it is showing the same.
