I requested Airtel to disconnect my land line phone. Request was palced on 15-Feb. First they directed me a retention officer who suggested me advantages to keep the phone connection. But when I mentioned that I am not living at the address for past 5 months, she agreed and quoted me reference no. 182950206. I was told billing would stop in 48 hours and phone disconnected within 7 days.
Unfortunately, the phone line is still working and me and my are still getting phone calls from Airtel suggesting I continue with the phone connection.
I doubt if complaints in the forum solve any problem but atleast people will be mentally prepared when they go for disconnecting their line.
