Wrong SIM Issued

Dear Sir,

I have been issued a SIM and the No. of my choice (8800245066) but after using for about 2-3 months i have come to know that this no. is not in my name.

My main concern is that there is a number in the market in my name and against my address proof.

I want Airtel to either locate the number issued in my name and against my address proof or ensure that i am not held responsible for any misuse of the numbur issued against my address proof.

I have given hundred of phone calls on the customer care, they neither gave me any conversation reference number nor they did any thing about the case. Then i spoke to one of your Nodal officer Mr. Sandeep and he asked me to send a mail on which he will give me the confirmation, i mailed him the details and got a mail in response asking for the vendor details, i have given those details as well but i have no response on the same as yet.

I think that you as a service provider and me as a customer are fully responsible for ensuring that the number is not misused.

I once again request AIRTEL to either locate the number issued in my name and address proof or send me a confirmation mail saying that i will not be held responsible if any Misuse of the SIM takes place.
