Blocking of connection

I am using my Airtel prepaid connection (i.e.9818939546) from past 7 years. But due to some reasons, I not used this number. the number is not in use approx. from October. Now I want to use this number but I found that the number is not exist at all.

After that I contact to the customer care and gone to the center with the written application.

But they refused to do so with an un-satisfactory answer.

and they can't do anything in this regard.
