Airtel Landline number disconnection

I had a number 0120-4125375 when I used to live in Ghaziabad. I moved to Hyderabad on 21-Jan-11. I cleared my landline bill and asked airtel customer care to disconnect the services bye 20-Jan-11. But they didn't disconnect. I came to know this when i received February bill. I called up 121 service and inquired about my disconnection. To my surprise, CSR agent told that there is nothing logged. I told them my instruments are surrendered on 21-Jan-11 and how can I pay for ununsed services. Agent told me that all those bills will be waived off and landline number will be disconnected. But till now I keep getting calls saying that i have to pay balance of 992 for the month I was not there and and also returned instruments. When I ask to send me the breakup of my usages during that period I keep getting answers that they will send me the bill for that month but I do not receive anything. Today I got call for settlement asking me to pay 500 and get my NOC. They told to give my current address and I have to give money to them in person and I cannot pay it online. I don't know what is this process. I am really scared with the kind of torture and harassment I am being given by these folks now. I need your help in regards to this. Please guide and help me to resolve this issue ASAP.
