I wanted to port my mobile numbe ri.e 096602-04318 from Airtel to Aircel. After sending the msg to port i received a call from Airtel customer care representatives who offered me that my call rate would be lowered for a month if i don't switch over to aircel free of cost for a month. i was also told that a month later RS. 1 per day would be deducted from my main account balance if i wish to continue that same plan. After competion of around 1.5 month i decided to discontinue with the service of lower call rate of 30 paise per second. I called to Airtel customer care and i was advised to get a recharge of Rs 37 so dat i can have my original call rate of 60 paise per second.
I believe dat Airtel has deceived me by not disclosing the condition at the time of giving me the free offer which i would have not aviled if had knowledge of this fact. I got my balance deducted for a month Rs 1 per day and above all they want me to pay for having my original call rate that is already higher than the current one applicable on my number.i want this service to be over and that to without payment of any charges.
