Yesterday, 30th November, Airtel staff had visited our building afor serving some other customer and have cut the wire for our DTH connection (with a different service provider).
The TV had stopped recieving signals at my residence at 5 pm yesterday. After I spoke to the Call centre they arranged a visit at my residence today morning (1-Dec). The service engineer informed us someone had cut the cable connected to the dish.
After checking the visitor's book records, we came to know that there was a visit from Airtel service engineer on 30th November at 4:40 PM and he had accessed terrace yesterday where we have our Dish also installed.
Today, 1st December, at 12:30 PM I called up the customer care (020-44448080) for Airtel and spoke to Mr. Jitendra. He refused to register the complaint, transfer the call or connect to the supervisor.
Since, Airtel staff is not willing to register the complaint and take action against the miscreant, I am formally registering a complaint to the Consumer Forum.
