Improper business practices

Airtel has been advertising over years for free calls to cstomer service number ie 121.

It seems the week of March 21, Airtel has changed their free calling customer service number to 198.

And have not informed customers neither by public notice (indoor/outdoor media), eservice (sms/email) regarding the (earlier free service call) on 121 now becoming a paid call.

Further, they have coincided this above change with the change in IVRS/helpdesk language from English to regional/local language which makes it difficult for one to notice that 121 has now become a paid service.

This is to warn all consumers/subscribers for the misleading practices now being followed by Airtel..
