This is to draw your kind attention to the fact that the services offered by Airtel are flawed and not one bit customer friendly.
I had applied for an Airtel prepaid number (8800125968) in July and for a couple of weeks it worked fine.
One fine day in mid-July, I got an sms late in the evening that due to incomplete document submission, my Airtel number will be blocked. This despite the fact that I had submitted all the required documents to the dealer at the Airtel outlet (Sohna road, Gurgaon).
Within 2 hours, my number was deactivated, without a proper notice period and without any time to help me rectify any issues.
I was so pissed off with Airtel that I stopped using that number and switched over to Vodafone.
Now 1 month after I stopped using Airtel, the losers have the nerve of debiting an amount of Rs. 1030 (ICICI bank Credit Card, transaction ID ref. no.: 75140680246042337241200) via an mcheck payment, something which I have not done.
Kindly advise as to how I should get this issue rectified?
Also, I'm seriously planning on dragging these buggers to the Consumer Forum for the mental trauma and distress that they've made me (and probably many others) suffer!
