I purchased DISH TV service online using the special online offer by paying Rs.690 on the 11th of January

Installation was done on 12th January.

Complaint 1:

Even though installation was done on 12th January I have not been able to view any channels till now. I get an error “301 signal not found”. I have complained several times in writing to [email protected] and on phone to their contact centre.

I have paid for their services fully and even after 13 days I have not received any service from DISH TV.

Complaint 2:

The technician charged Rs.990 for set top box again eventhough I have paid Rs.690 online.

I registered two complaints with customer care but have received no response.

Now I have written to their Nodal officer for Chennai and am waiting for a response.

It has been 13 days and I am out of about 2200 rupees and have not had a single channel yet

Kid you not, every time I have called their contact centre in the past 10-12 days I have got a standard response from their representatives "Our systems are down. We are unable to look up your account or register a complaint. Please call back after 2 hours". They have said this to me every two hours that I have called!!!

The only response I have got from them is through their customer care email id "[email protected]"

It has been exasperating dealing with these people.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY DISH TV.
