I had taken a new Dish TV Connection. Within 1 1/2 month, the Set Top Box (STB) was not functioning. On contacting customer service, they recommended to hand over the STB to the dealer. They did not replace with new STB, although they were suppose to replace a new STB within 48 hours. When handing over the STB, dealer informed us that they service it free, but customer to pay for the components. On making another conmplaint to Dish TV, we were told, we need not pay anything & we are eligible to get back the rectified STB within 48 hours or a new STb inlieu of the same. Now after more than 25 days, after rigorous follow-ups / emails, they are forcing us to collect the rectified STB which we are not interested. In view of the severe in convenience & mental agony we went through, we wanted refund. Dish TV said we can get only Rs400/- & later they said no refund.

I have a set of emails sent by Dish TV customer service which are inconsistent & full of crap reply. How do I get my refund & how do levy penalty on Dish TV...
