I am using Reliance DTH since more than 2 years. The service was getting disrupted many times. When I complained, their call center reply was " The distruption is due to cloudy sky or rain. But they never informed that such disruptions will occur while purchasing the Connection. As I pay Annual subscription charges, I am forced to accept what ever they say. But now for the past one week the set top box did not receive any signal. I made several complaints and their standard answer was due to cloudy weather in Chennai. Finally the call center person informed that they will send a technician to check and I have to pay Rs.175/- as service charge. Unfortunately I renewed for one more year effective June. This renewal eventhough made for one year, Reliance has taken it on monthly base and now they inform that the renewal is only for 8 months on a different package. I have no other option but to meekly accept for what ever conditions they impose. This is clearly exploitation of customers and fleecing them in what ever way the like.
