Need help- Dissatisfied with Airtel services 11776526

Hi,

My name is Akshay,

Customer Id- 3006922082, I have got Airtel DTH installed 7 months back. After 6 months when the warranty expired my setupbox stopped working. So I raised a request by calling the Airtel customer careon 10th september. The request number is 11776526.The technician visited my place the same day and said that the setup box is faulty and they will replace it and he said that they dont have the setup box in stock they will replace the setup box next day i.e 11th september. When I called them they said they havenot been able to arrange the box as I have a HD setup box. After so many calls every day to customer care and the concerned technician they said tey will replace it on friday. To my surprise a technician visited my place and he said the same thing that was told to me on 10th that my setup box is faulty and they will need to replace it. That time I couldnot figure out that if one technician has already visisted my place and has informed that the setupbox needs to be replaced then what is the need to send the technician again. I then called the customer care and they said that the response date for the ticket was 15th september and per my request they have rescheduled the request resolution date to 20th september. So this was they balmed me that I was not available at home and did not want to get this resolved.

The funny thing is my television is not working and I have been calling them continuously and they are saying that the customer wants to reschedule it for next 5 days. Now even if I am not availble that day I would have rescheduled it for next day why do I have to wait for 5 days. So I started calling the technician again on 16th and he said he will get it fixed today and the proces continued.

I was very sure that they will only contact me on 20th september as that is the resolution date. So someone called me and said that they are sending someone to fix it I then asked if they have been able to arrange a HD setupbox and to my expectations the answer was NO. Then why are you sending the technician what is the need. I then called the customer care and they told me that the same thing has happened that I have asked them to reschedule it for 30th september i.e after 10 days. But why would I do that I want my TV to be working and its not working at all and then I would extend it. Pathetic service and they are blaming the customer to save themselves. Apart from that the technician would keep disconecting my call and will place my call on hold and not come back. So for now my TV isnoworking for last 10 days and they intend to keep it like this for next 10 days. What about the money that I am loosing because of this?

Now after such a poor and not very supportive service I am thinking to discontinue my services with Airtel and also disconnect my Airtel phone and internet connection. My request to you is that please take strict action against the technician who was working on my request as per him it was me who didnot want to get the issue resolved and I kept on rescheduling. Pathetic pathetic service.

If you can please escalate this and find out the technician involved in this quest and take disciplinary action against him. I would like to rate his service 0/0. My faith from Airtel has gone now because of the service provided by the tech.

Please consider my requet as I am really tired of calling them again and again and getting different excuses everytime.
