FRAUDE AIRTEL DIGITAL TV – BUYING A AIRTEL DISH IS LIABILITY – PATHETIC CUSTOMER CARE

I am using airtel digital TV from more than 2 years.

My complaint is:

Complaint No 1:

• I want to transfer the Connection/Dish from Delhi to Mumbai. I called on 16th March (Time: 7.40 PM) to Customer care for dismantling the dish so that I can carry it with me to Mumbai. He took my request and sent a man for the same. Also he told me that your billing is stopped from now till I will again call the customer care for connection of the dish.

The dish uninstalled in Delhi after paying Rs 100.

• But today 28th March – I am getting sms of “Your Digital TV id 3000693459 is about to expire. Please recharge with Rs 300 Today.” It’s disgusting. I was already told that your connection is temporarily stopped on 16th. Then how you are charging me when dish is not on place and I am not using it. I WANT REIMBURSMENT FOR THE SAME.

I called Customer care 3-4 times (Date: 29th March Timing: @ 1.29PM, 1.50PM). But It take around 15-20 min to connect to customer care. After connecting and giving info the representative kept it on holding for more than 12min. They also cut the phone during the discussion. (Pathetic Customer Care) That’s why I am writing this mail.

Complaint No 2:

Now I want reinstall the dish in Mumbai. Since last 10 days AIRTEL DIGITAL CUSTOMER CARE is harassing me.

Its very pathetic and painful experience. I booked a slot on 16th April at 3.00PM for reinstallation of Dish in my Mumbai house. And I received following sms "Dear Customer, request no-6961024 for "Relocation request", Happy Code-TL6A.Share code with the engineer ONCE issue is resolved. For any query pls call 9971917711"

After waiting a long time I called above cell no. The no was ringing but nobody was picking up the phone. After sometime I again tried the phone was switched off. This the way to behave with the customers. I

called customer care thrice and at last sombody picked up the phone. And told me that my request is resolved. (Its a big joke) Nobody called me and came to my house. Then how it is resolved.

After that i called Customer Care of Airtel Digital TV at again and again at the following times

4 17th April 5.44 Request Accepted. Time Set at 11 am on 18th April for Dish Reinstallation.

5 18th April 12.43 After waiting at home for 1hr 43 min. As the person had not come I called again. This time the Time Set for Dish Reinstallation was at 3 PM on 18th April.

6 18th April 4.49 After waiting at home for 1hr 49 min. As the person had not come I called again. This time the Time Set for Dish Reinstallation was next day (no time provided) on 19th April.

I WANT TO KNOW:

Please let me know are you going to install the dish or not?

Why should I have to call customer care every day?

Why don’t you take a note of my complaints from last 20 days? (I have also mailed my complaints on 29thMarch and 16th April)

If you don’t want to provide service refund my Rs500 (which I paid from last month without having dish installed) Plus Rs1250 (Set top box) and take your instruments with you. I dont want your service.

And last but not least

If your company has some dignity left reply back to me as soon as possible.
