I have booked an Airtel DTH HD Multi connection for my residence at Vasanthnagar on 26th Of April. Paid by credit card IVR.I was told that the connection will be made in 48 hours. Two weeks and about 40 reminders and emails to Deepak Soni, Senior Manager of the Airtel Call centre 12148
as well as Naiyoum Sheikh Airtel Technical support yielded no results. Every time I called I was told that the Installation team will contact me in 20 minutes or the call was intentionally cut after putting on hold for about 20 minutes. It has surely been a frustrating experience with AIRTEL DTH.
I am sure that this is a organisation problem and you can expect similar response from other services like mobile telephony and Internet as well.
THINK THRICE BEFORE YOU OPT FOR AIRTEL.
We used to think that PSU's like BSNL were slack but they certainly have turned out to be smarter than these Pvt Sector behemoths!
Worse still AIRTEL does not have the decency to reply or respond. I have FIVE airtel MOBILES and I am going to switch over to a service oriented company.
