And I also had the similar experience with Airtel, the response of Customer Service Executive is very bad. This was a service executive by name Pankaj and he put me on hold for more than 15 minutes and finally disconnected my call. And next time I could reach them out only after multiple attempts and when I asked the same to these executive they said that this time they won't disconnect. And it confirmed my presumption that they are doing willingly. I would hope we have a DTH Portability also soon and then they feel the pressure. How can they take customer granted.
If they are not ready with the services why do they send out SMSes and other messages about the new services.
Also, one more interesting thing is they are not offering a local DD channel and provide other regional channels. I am from Andhra Pradesh and would like to see Telugu DD FTA channel which is a mandatory requirement as per TRAI guidelines but they provide all other regional channel and not DD Telugu and if you ask the same the response is very bad
