I had taken IPTV connection in April during the vacation period for my children after the school reopened we had requested the company (Aksh Optifibre) to suspend the services, again during the month of November we had recharged, and again deactivated the IPTV as the school reopened after Diwali vacation, we again tried to activate for the month of Jan but the company did not send their representative for activation. We called up their call center not less than 15 times but they always made the excuse as there was no staff available finally their representative came during the month of Feb but could not start the transmission and told that u will have to surrender the STB as u have not recharged for 6 months during the year and have not intimated the company that the services is to be suspend for those months, I had taken utmost care to notify them each month for not requiring the IPTV transmission by sending e-mails every month, but is it necessary to notify them in advance?? because in TataSky or in any other operator they would simply discontinue the services unless whenever u recharge for that month u would want to, here i am told that u will have to pay for all your past months and then only u can activate the transmission. Can anybody pls help as this is absolutely against the rule to force the consumer to utilize the service even when he does not want to.
