Hi my brother was using a HSBC credit card having limit of 15000, he has used around from 2007 - april till that time, all the payments are paid on time. But on June he lost his job due to recession, & he got job in Jan. so due to that he was unable to do payment. Now two days back he received a call from police (SI) from Delhi called up and said warrant will be issued against me in Delhi police station and also he gave advocate’s mobile number and suggested to settle down the problems with advocate so that they can withdraw the case against me. When I contacted that lady advocate she told me to deposit 30000 within 1 hour so that she can withdraw the case against me, I was taken aback and it was greatest shock in my life.
I am really worried and don’t know what to do … she is in fact harassing and threatening me .. Please advise….
