Theft of Laptop

I purchased a DELL MINI1210 LAPTOP FROM DELL on the 18th of March. The Laptop started developing problems with its Hard Disk and Display and was inspected and repaired by DELL engineers twice. On the third occasion which is on 18th June, the Display failed and the engineer said that this model is no longer in production and cannot be repaired. So he will have my laptop picked up and replaced. My laptop was picked up from me on the 1st of July and I was promised a replacement by 10th July.

Now when I have tried tracking my replacement no one at DELL takes the responsibility of providing me with an answer. The customer care numbers 1800-425-4002 and 1800-425-4026, keep bouncing calls from one extension to the other. The Head of the replacement dept is on training since the last 14 days and is not available for help or comment.

I have not managed to loose both my money Rs.18, 500/- and my laptop. There is no one at DELL who is answerable for this theft.
