I had placed an order for LCD's & SONY ERICSSON MOBILE, for which an executive on behalf of ITBC (Mr Prashanth, Mr. Rammukesh & Mr. Rohit sharma) had promised gold vouchers worth Rs. Four lakh & odd in the month of june. I have received the LCD and mobile but not the gold vouchers as promised. they gave me a phone number through which I could supposedly talk to them. But to my surprise the said number is that of a call center. When I called up this number different people picked up the phone, (the names of whom I have noted down if it shall solve the purpose at a later date) only to answer that the vouchers would be sent in to my E mail ([email protected]) 24hrs which has never happened till date. I have tried calling them atleast 25 times & now my ray of hope is slowly fading away. When the remittance was already credited to India Today Book Club, why was the gold vouchers not sent alongwith the LCD/mobile. In the given circumstance, if ITBC could not keep up its promises then why do they promote any product at all. There seem to be lot of complaints against this company. Would these not cause any damage to the company's reputation?
May I request the concerned authorities to look into the matter atleast now, on a priority basis. If not I may be forced to put forward this matter to the Consumer Forum & media.
