Anyone considering Axis Bank, please take my advice and stay away from it, esp if you are NRI. If you have an existing Axis Bank account, please consider moving to others. The reason I am saying this is they do not respond to customers problems at all. Their phones just keep ringing - even if you get through you will be put on indefinite waits. After trying 15-20 calls, I was told the person is not currently at desk and will return in 10 minutes. But he never returned it seems.
I am planning to sure the bank for misleading US based customers. I had deposited money to them using Axis remit and I wanted to transfer my funds to another beneficiary in HSBC using online banking. I was facing a technical problem and could not get it resolved even after several attempts. They JUST WONT RESPOND!!!
AXIS BANK is the most pathetic Indian bank. Please stay away of you can.
