Charged twice on card

My card was charged twice for a purchase on 12th july... and i received msgs regarding the same... i have an infant to take care off and cant go all the time to the shop to complaint so my husdand chased both reliance and my bank for the money... i received two transaction id's and confirmed from the bank that the amt had gone to the merchant... however, at reliance no one bothered to reply properly... i was tossed between both n dismayed with the help given by both... i m stressed now as whatever little help given by both is useless as my husband has to quit his work n run for the money... this is ridiculous... its such an inconvenience for us both, nothing has been actioned so far today being 25th july... i m a housewife n that money means alot to me... i dont know how what action will u take, but i am very disheartened to go to reliance again for anything again due to this bad experience...
