I have an hdfc bank salary account (at hdfc bank, c-17, anand niketan branch, chanakya puri) with act no-03361140001410 which i have been using for more than 2 years. 3 weeks back my debit card got captured in another banks atm because of some mal function and i had to approach my branch for a replacement. Even after four visits to the branch in three weeks up to june 29 and filling up of numerous forms they couldnot provide me with an replacement debit card, cheque book or phone banking or net banking pin at the branch. They were not willing to update either my phone number or address even after i provided lease agreement for home as address proof. This is highly disappointing and unacceptable in an age where other banks are looking to provide competitive services to customers. I no longer think that the branch is going to take any step to help me. What should i do?
