HDFC Insurance
I took a locker and I was forced to take Insurance policy

I had gone to HDFC Bank branch in Sector 50 Noida and I was forced to take an Insurance policy by HDFC. I complained several times and had paid Rs. 50, 000 in 1st year. The HDFC Insurance spoke to me in the 2nd year and told me to pay Rs. 10, 000 from 2nd year onwards and take back the money on completion of 3rd year. I paid another Rs. 20, 000 in the next 2 years and when I surrendered after 3 years, I got only Rs, 28, 000 despite having paid the Insurance Company Rs. 70, 000 in 3 years.

I complained to many people but no one listened. When HDFC Bank and HDFC Insurance are 2 separate companies, why did the Bank force the Insurance policy to me? Can I complain to RBI or IRDA? I know these 2 government bodies may also not do much as they have representatives from Banks and Insurance companies working in them.

Please let me know how to proceed on this...
