HSBC
HSBC torturing to Repay the paid amount

Sir,

I Santosh Laxman Dhawal received HSBC Credit Card No.4476929992595469 in 2007 and continuously made transaction without default.

I purchased articles worth Rs.12, 342/- between 12, feb 08 to 11 march 08. and made payment of Rs.12, 342/- by citi bank cheque No.996383 dtd.03 april 08 before due date. However this cheque payment mistakenly given to Card No.****9546 instead of my card A/c. No.4476929992595469 and shortly credited by Card No.****9546 to my Card No.****5469 as per informed by HSBC authorities through e mail dated 10 jun 08. Instead of credited the above amount HSBC sent revised statement indicating the due amt.of Rs.28, 032/- without any verification.

In spite of that the representatives of HSBC frequently phoned me and visited home for the recovery of above amount and send payment details to pay the amount. Recently HSBC authority send a telegram cum notice for asking a legal action in a court of law.

As I am a law abiding person, I had never did such false transaction before, HSBC has threatened to provide credit history to Credit Information Bureau Of India (CIBIL) Ltd. an initiative of the Gov.t of India and Reserve Bank of India and this may impact on the ability to avail credit facilities from any financial institution in future. This way they are pressuring me to pay the amount of Rs.28, 032/-.

So please do the needful and give me the justice and get rid of this matter.

Thanking you,

Santosh L.Dhawal
