HSBC Credit Card No. 5548 5120 0641 9859. When I received the statement for renewal of this card, I called up the customer service informing them that I am not interedsted in renewing the card. They informed after lengthy dis cussion that they will waive the charges as I have been a card holder for a long time. In turn I informed them that since I have not been using the card for close to four uears I do not want the card. On 6th April I was informed the Credit Card cancellation department has been informed and the matter was closed.
I was shocked that for more than 10 days HSBC personnel have been calling at my residence and literally forcing me to pay the amount. When I have not been using the card and the card has been cancelled ehy should I pay. Moreover, I am informed that the cancellation has been effected by the back office and they are not aware of it. If there is a communication gap between the back office and the fron office, am to be harassed. Moreover, I have been a customer of HSBC for more than 20 years. My track record has been good. Since I am using Kotak Mahindra and HDFC Corporate Card, I have no need for HSBC Card. I want HSBC Credit Card division to take notice of this and stop its personnel from harassing me.
