Non refund of maturity value

I, Geeta Verma, Policy holder of LifeTime Super Policy Number 06037394 (UIN Number:105L056V01) of icici prudential life insurance paid all the three installments of Rs 30, 000/- each on following dates

14-Aug-07, 27-Aug-08 and 25-Aug-09.

i was being told by ICICI officials that i will get the maturity value of RS 1, 35, 000/- in month of January but till now i have not recieved any penny from them even after innumerable calls and requests.

lately, i recieved a call from ICICI agent that i have to open a new account with Rs 30000/- in name of IRDA in either HDFC or IDBI bank, only in that case they will issue us the cheque of maturity value which will be payable in that account only.

I would like to ask who are they to decide in which bank my money will go and why are we being tortured for getting our own money.

I request the complaint cell to resolve this issue as soon as possible as it seems to me that some fraudulent practices are being played here.
