I, Dr. Ayesha Jehan, Aged 52 years of age have an LIC Policy bearing policy number - 644959210 taken at Koti main branch, Hyderabad.
Due to certain family commitments I was unable to pay my premium on time for the first time in 9 years, which led to policy being lapsed.
After this, I applied for policy revival in the month of October. I was asked to undergo a medical examination and lab tests, which I did and submitted the same at DBR diagnostics Dilsukhnagar as advised by the LIC personnel at Koti main branch.
On approaching the Koti main branch in first week of november, I was told that my lab tests are normal but my BMI is slightly high and so it needs to sent for review to head office. I was also asked to not visit the office again and that i would be intimated about the results of my application by phone.
Since then, I have not received any intimation from the LIC personnel on the status of my policy. They are neither answering any phone calls nor are they responding to any queries properly when I meet them in person. All they sy is that it has gone to head office.
My next premium is due in march and I do not want to miss another payment of premium.
I please request you to kindly furnish the details of my policy at the earliest.
