Some time ago i had a loan with Lombard, unfortunately before it was fully repaid I became ill and had to give up working. I had paid the extra for loan insurance so activated this. After a fight with two debt collecting agents who had contacted me re. the outstanding balance, it was agrred the debt had been paid, all well and good. However, when I tried to re-mortgage my home earlier this year this loan appearred giving me a bad credit rating. As a result I have been unable to re-mortgage.
how do I go about having this situation rectified?
