I was using ABN Ambro bank Credit card since a long time and at that moment bank relation was also very good. As my good payment track record bank offered a loan to me and it was also cleared before time and I got back all my PDC on time.

In the month of April I made a payment of 25000 through HDFC bank and after cleared the cheque I called to ABN call center no 982490224 for cancellation my card, and want to know if any o/s are remaining in my a/c, the concern executive conform to me that bank have 1683.97/- excess and also convinced to me that you continue the card she also offering some scheme to me but I didn’t agreed so she logged the cancellation of my card.

as per her commitment I got the refund DD of amount 1683.97 dated on 26.5.2008 and I insured that my card has been cancelled. On 15.06. I got a statement with due 0/- (zero) available balance zero and credit limit zero, after that I was insure that my a/c has been closed.

In the month of July I received a call from Delhi and as per caller executive he calling from ABN Ambro bank and demanding 50 thousand rupees against my card, I was shocked to know that after 3 month of cancellation why bank demanding so much amount to me and I approach to local office and mark a mail at [email protected] and a local executive [email protected] on 19 July but I didn’t get any response from our end.
