Dear Sir,
The loan I owed from ABN AMRO Bank was settled last year and I was sent the letter of the settlement as paid the decided amount to the bank. However, after an year I have started receiving letters and phone calls stating that I still owe the same amount to them.
Further, I talked to the collections department who then connected me to their Customer Service, where I was told that the system issue has caused the amount not updated on the account. I was given a complaint number and assured that problem will resolved within ten days. This was in the month of January but no status was updated even after the time frame promised.
I am still receiving the statements and calls for the payment. Please help
