Dear Sir,

I would like to complaint against Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company. I am an existing customer with Policy No. 1000049475-02.

In September I received renewal notice from the company along with an discount offer of 7.5% if we renew for two years. I talked to their executive that whether I'll receive two separate IT certificate for two years, because, if I get only one certificate, I can get exemption only for this year and next year I'll lose the IT deduction and that will be more than the discount I'll receive. She told that I'll receive two separate IT certificate.

I also wanted to upgrade from their plan standard to Exclusive as I cannot get critical illness cover in standard plan. Their executive also told that I need to fill up a change form and that she will send one executive to collect the change form and premium.

In September last week, they send an executive from Apna Insurance for collecting the change form and premium check. Through his mobile, I called the executive in the branch to verify the person and also the premium amount for 4 lac health cover in Exclusive package with 4 lac critical illness cover for two years. To assure me that I’ll get two IT certificate, he gave me two acknowledgement receipts with half the amount of two year’s premium. I also submitted the change form stating clearly that I need critical illness cover.

When I received the policy document, to my surprise, there was no mention of critical illness cover and also I received only one IT certificate. I wrote a mail to them for providing critical illness cover and IT certificates. I also wrote, if two IT certificates are not possible, they should provide me only one year exclusive package of 4 lac with 4 lac critical illness cover and they should return the remaining money to me as in that case I was not interested in two year’s cover.

Their customer relationship manager Mr. Karan Singh replied my mail saying that my case no. is 244903 and they will revert back to me by 25th October with complete solution. But as of today, I have not received any communication from them.

I therefore request the concerned person to have a look into this issue and provide a solution to this.
