I would like to share a real bad experience that I went through at Ohri's - Ming's Court located in Basheerbagh.
On 14th May, I decided to have a family dinner and wanted to eat Chinese so went to Ming's Court as people do talk about its 'good food'. We are Vegetarians so when we went there had our seats and placed order for Starters, he first got us Beer and I had to tell me he was serving at a wrong table as we had not ordered. He then served us the starters in our plates. My mother being that staunch vegetarian and usually does not dine outside. If she does only at Veg Restaurant, but this time we convinced her some how. While he was serving... my mom surely got the first service as per table routine and I was the last... I then asked the waiter if 'it was a Vegetarian'...he was confused with my question. In the meanwhile my mother had almost placed the first bite in mouth and then the waiter tells me its a 'FISH' what a doom for my family. She almost puked listening to it and felt very horrible. I felt disgusted myself too.
What they did was just apologies and said they would change the order and nothing else...!!
That surely does not help. I would want this to be published if possible in your newspapers as this surely would be a an eyeopener for Vegetarians when they visit such big restaurants with big names. They would still should confirm if the food served if Vegetarian or not.
It surely hurts the sentiments and I know for sure my mom would never eat out again.
I hope this gets published and people realize it.
