On 2nd April in the morning at 5.30 a.m. when I was on my way to Airport, I boarded an auto bearing Regn. No. MH 02 A-2392 opposite my residence at J.V.Link Road. But, when the auto driver asked astronomically high fare and declined to put on the meter, I refused to travel in the same and decided to board another auto. However, the above driver confronted very badly and did not allow me to board another auto for 10 minutes and wasted my precious time the morning since I had to proceed to airport. Further, he even did not allow the other auto driver also to start his auto by blocking the road with his auto. I was shocked by this rude behaviour. Such incidents of exhorbitant fare, higher meter reading, arrogant behaviour of auto driver etc are being commonly faced by me since I am a frequent traveller but the above incident was the limit to all.. I had to literally fight with the auto driver early morning to make my way out.
You are requested to take immediate needful legal action against the culprit in order to teach him a lesson through proper channel.
Since I was travelling for the last few days, I could not lodge this complaint earlier than this.
