Dear Sir / Madam,
This is in reference of a Discover DTS – 135. I have purchased a Discover – 135 on 28th Feb and paid full amount of 51700/- having No- DL9S AE 1698 from Dewan # Bajan, F-1/1, Mahaveer Enclave, Palam Dabri Road, Dwarka. From the very first day I have seen the Oil Leakage from the Bottom of the engine. In the reference of the same I made a visit to the showroom on 2nd March as showroom was closed on 1st March. Since then I have visited there almost 10 times but the problem remains same. Below are the outcomes of the all visits.
1. 2nd March: - Attended by one mechanic named Haider (if I remember), he said that Vehicle is new that’s why the leakage occurs. Come tomorrow if the same will persist & as per him we are treating the new vehicles while showroom close hence visit on Wednesday.
2. 3rd March: - After reaching there they told that service station is closed hence come some other day.
3. 5th March: - One of PS Engineer did something with Screw and told me to check and if same will persist then come again.
4. 7th March: - Same exercise done even I have tried to lodge complained but Showroom staffs not interested to write the same.
5. 8th March: - Some has intruded Mr. Brijesh that he is senior chap and he will take care of my problem. Mr. Brijesh has called one Mechanic and told him to check the Bike and the mechanic did the time pass.
6. 9th March:- I tried my best to meet some senior over there but customer care lady was not interested to listen my problem and she made comments that’s we are least bothered if it is into warranty. Go to service station manager and talk to him
7. 11th March. Finally on 11th March I reached showroom at 09.30 am & after talking to GM I got a chance to lodge a complaint at around 12.30pm. I surprised when the showroom officials said that go and request security guard if he can give you number for servicing your bike and I felt that really I was a touch job to get a number but anyhow I got the number a 14:15 hours under job no - 2586. Mr. Brijesh told me that they need 2 hours hence come at 17:00 hours and collect your bike. I visited showroom at 18:30 hours and surprised that it was in a same condition in front of showroom again I requested Mr. Brijesh to get it done and finally I got it at around 20:00 hours.
On 12th morning I saw that heavy oil leakage starts
8. 12th March:- I visited there around 13:30 hours but they refused to repair the same they told me that they have taken enough quota for the day hence come tomorrow early morning.
9. 13th March: -Vehicle deposited under job card no – 3776. I asked mechanic why it occurs again then he did surprised answer that they
Done hit & trial last day and they will change the faulty part. I got a call
I got a call from service station that my bike is ready come and collect it; I went there and asked station manger to fill the engine oil as already more than half ltr. leaked but Mr. GM instructed them to fill only 50ml. I requested them to wash the bike but they refused and told me that they will not wash bikes under complaints. Anyway I didn’t make any arguments.
It is very painful to inform you that the problem is same and now I am totally frustrated from them and I made a complaint in consumer court under reference no. 219685 and they suggested me to write you once before proceeding.
After Lodging complaint one of Customer care exec. called from from Diwan Automobile and ask me to bring my vehicle again I took a leave and went to Diwan Automobile, after waiting of 3 hours their mechanic told me that it is olnly old oil on the engine and he just washed the engine and told me that now the problem is over. but I am facing same problem.
Again on 6th April 10 i lodged a call at customer care and no response from them upto 12th April 10 again i made a complaint but they told me that your 48 hours is not completed hence make a call after 2-3 days. again i made a call today i.e. 14/04/10 but the executive is helpless she told me that she is helpless she cant do anything except forwarding my complaints.
I would like to bring in your notice that the following things:-
1. My salary has been deducted for 15 days @ 1200 i.e. 18000/-
2. I want my bike to get replace or total amount along with compensation to be refunded.
3. I want compensation for the mental harassments
i would like to lodge a complaint in consumer court.
