I have honda city vehicle and the registration number is AP10AB36.

i wanted to buy brake fluid for top up.

Sundaram honda at Ranigunj, Secunderabad refused to sell the brake fluid.

The service Manager informed me that it is the policy of honda not to sell the customer needs across the counter.

Just to top up the brake fluid (which can be done the user) one need not go to the service centre spending time and money.

giving the vehicle for service/repair is a prerogetive of customer. Service centre cannot force a customer to give the vehicle for service just to top up the fluid.

Please clarify whether it is the policy of Honda or that of the service centre not to sell parts and consumables to the vehicle owner across the counter.

I may have to seek the help consumer forum to get my grievance redressed in case service centre continues to refuse the vehicle owners in selling spares and consumables.
