After toiling day and night for quite some time, I wanted to fulfill my cherished dream to own a decent car for my family and accordingly got in touch with Himgiri Hyundai, Wazirpur., Delhi, who are authorized dealer of Hyundai Motors.
During the course of negotiations with the dealer, I was presented with a brochure containing details of various I-10 models. After discussing the choice with my family, I chose Era model with company fitted CNG kit, for which I was charged Rs.54, 800/- extra. Though I could have got the same kit fitted for anywhere around Rs.25, 000/- to Rs.30, 000/-, I opted for company fitted CNG kit taking into consideration the brand image of Hyundai.
I was feeling elated to have achieved my dream of owning a decent car, but after using the vehicle for some time, I got surprised when the new car started giving trouble, details of which are as under :
• During Jan’10, when I was going to my office, CNG controlling mechanism failed all of a sudden. I approached the Himgiri who gave contact numbers of the CNG dealer in Okhla and the fault was rectified.
• I got second shock when I was driving the vehicle on petrol and it started blasting and stood in between the road. I took the vehicle to Himgiri anyhow and the fault was rectified. I had to wait for 4-5 hours to get the vehicle back. Since then, it has become a routine to take my vehicle to Himgiri every month, but the fault still persists. I would like to mention that I have to bear hefty amount of time as it is almost 25 kms from my place and waste my time, which is hampering my office working also.
Since I am fed up with the approach my vehicle is handled with, I would request your goodselves that :
1. The dealer be asked to explain why the fault is still persisting even after so many check-ups.
2. The dealer be asked to rectify the fault permanently and if not possible, then issue me a new vehicle.
Hoping to receive a prompt and favourable response from Hyundia officials.
