After multiple meeting with Authroized CNG Kit provider, after taking repeated confirmations on absolute no complaints I have installed LOVATO CNG Kit in my car in Feb. I have an Alto with millage of 18/ liter petrol. I use it daily basis so with a caluclation of 1.5 yrs use of CG I will hit the break eve poit of ivestmet made on CNG. I have taken extra instrument Lambda which would give sme power as petrol to CNG fuel.
Its been a nightmare and frustration after that. It doesnt start or supply is insufficiet to run CNG. Everytime I visit service provider they perform rrp setting or some change and it works fine for next 1 week and again problem starts. Service station is far my home and I have to lose at least half day in weekend to get this done. I have visited servie center for not less than 8 to 10 time in last 2 months. Adding to frustration is unavailability of CNG GAS in city as we have only 8 stations and takes more than hour to get your gas filled. Maximum gas capacity is 7.5 kg which is not more than 200 kilo meters. Sometimes has shorate is there.
On the whole either gas unavailability and when gas available CNG problem, I am using mostly petrol and getting frustarted to reach service provider who simply says, nobody is getting problem only you get. He was soft for sometimes, then he also got frustared with mu visists.
Its been very bad experience to install CNG as amount we save will reflect only if you use ar for at least 15k to 18k in CNG and after that you relaize some benefits. There is no point investing so much unles you stay close to cng station. I have spent more money for petrol in reaching CNG station than oney used for filling CNG.
I express extreme disastisfaction towards this producr LOVATO CNG and given an oppurtunity I am ready to take it off with some loss also.
I recommed not to go for CNG unless you stay close to CNG station, you use car for at least 2k per month.
