It is now more than 20 days I have reported my complain to you.
Even though my car is eligible for CNG and it was also shown / mentioned on the time of getting Insurance cover.
I am spending daily 1200 Rs for my traveling.
The car was not operating on CNG and the fire cause was something else.
May please let me know the status for the same.

The matter is under discussion.
If repair is major concern, you may pl get it repaired at your end. The re-imbursement for same, upto our liability, would get paid in case the claim is found admissible.
Final decision would be taken by 30th Nov.

1) Insurance is contract between 'insured' and 'insurer'.Its equal responsibility of both parties to check the facts/terms printed on policy schedule.
Any error or negligence noticed should be notified asap.
2) Based on facts as on date of loss, claim is not payable. In surveyor's opinion loss was due to CNG.
3) On Mr Rakesh's representation and letter provide by you 2 working days before, we have requested surveyor to recheck facts. We'll get back to you as soon facts get cleared.
Would appreciate and request to bear with us till thur/fri for final decision of competent authority.

Dear Sir,
Please refer to my motor claim no. 1-FBJUL8 and Policy no. 1-BKQJ4B / 15.07. Agent no. 10000019 Regn no. DL8CK0945 WAGON-R VXI (Car RC is approved for CNG as a Fuel)
It has now been close to 15 days since the claim was lodged and so far the workshop has not been given go ahead by surveyor to proceed with the repairs. I am informed that there is a problem in clearing the claim as the vehicle uses both CNG and Petrol fuels and this fact is not mentioned on the policy. I have not been using CNG for the last six months and have have already submitted a declaration to that effect. I give below the entire sequence of events from setting up the insurance policy till date:
1. My car was inspected by surveyors appointed by you prior to insurance and the copy of RC handed to him which clearly mentions that the Fuel used is CNG / Petrol
2. Car was approved for insurance, premium payable intimated to me and was duly paid and insurance policy issued by your company. Copy of RC was also handed over to the agent.
3. On the happening of the incident, I gave the car to workshop and lodged a claim.
4. It is at this point of time that I was informed that the policy does not cover CNG vehicle. On approaching my insurance agent Mr. Rakesh Chhabra I was told that due to an ovesight he had not charged the CNG premium at the time of insurance and that the same should be deposited immediately and that he will request the company to consider the claim favourably. I did as advised and deposited the additional premium.
5. A few days later I was asked to submit a declaration that I had not been using CNG. I did as directed almost a week back.
I am at a loss to figure out what has been my mistake in the entire episode. Due to negligence on part of your company and the agent appointed by it, I am suffering a daily loss of Rs.1, 200.00 on commuting and till date my vehicle has not been repaired. Please clear my claim at the ealiest failing which I shall be constrained to seek redressal from appropriate authorities.
