This is regarding the ridiculous answer and attitude of indian airlines towards handling the cancellation case. I canceled 2 flight tickets from DEL-TRV and TRV-DEL on 25-Oct. Today is 02-Nov. Their website says "

Incase refund amount not refunded within 4-5 days please contact [email protected]". I have contacted in time and my mail was not replied. I called their customer care (Delhi) on on 02-Nov. They seem not handling the calls professionally and thats quite acceptable being a govt undertaking airlines. The Gentle man (who did not introduce himself) told me it takes min of 45 days to get the refund, which made me get angry. Then the gentleman took somebody else's help and informed me it is 2 to 3 weeks. Still am not quite convinced with the response. Why not these guys send an email once I canceled the tickets, with the message of confirmation with the details of deadlines they will meet? Why are they not sticking to deadlines? Why such airlines charge huge cannot provide a quality/responsible customer care? Confirm yourself that your trip is damn confirmed before you proceed with them. If there is any likely that you will cancel, then prefer those private players who give a better service. At least you wont be offended by them. Let me see when I get the refund.

I am deeply hurt and offended. It is my decision now that never again travel with them. Donno.
