I have booked SWIFT-VDI through M/s. Varun Motors, Visakhapatnam. AS per their order booking/commitment checklist dated 25-03 the cost of vehicle is RS. 6, 38, 130/-(The details are - Ex-Show room price- RS. 5, 44, 901 Insurance Price RS.16, 644 Extended warranty RS. 4, 995 Tem. Reg. charges RS.2, 500 Handling charges RS.3, 500 Life tax @ 12% RS. 65, 590=6, 38, 130) and as per the order booking they committed that they would deliver the vehicle with in 30 to 45 days.
As per their advise I have paid the RS.50, 000/- on 25-03 (wide their receipt NO.19614) towards booking amount. All of sudden on 18-04 one of their executive Mr. Srikanth, AGM sales called me asked me to pay the balance remaining amount (other than bank finance) and they would delivered the vehicle on 22-04. As per his instructions on 18-04 I have the paid the Balance amount of RS.80, 450 wide receipt no.817 (Less 50% NCB on the vehicle insurance as per the order booking form) and on 20-04 the Bank finance amount of RS.5, 00, 000/- wide their receipt no. 934. They would promised me delivered the vehicle on 22-04.
Since 22-04 I keep on visiting their show room and returning the show room with a wards from them they would delivered the vehicle with in 1 or 2 days on each occation.
On 09-05 when I went to the show room (VARUN MOTORS) Mr. Srikanth taken me to Mr. P.STYA PRASAD RAJU-EDP MANAGER he/they told that they would delivered the vehicle in the end of the month.
I submit that I am paying EMI for the loan taken for the purpose of purchasing car, but without enjoying the car.
This is very injustice, caused to your customers for the fault of your AUTHORIZED DEALER
Please take appropriate action and see that the car should be delivered on or before 16-05 or else necessary action will be taken against on your authorised dealer
The dealer further explained that the cost of vehicle was increased for an amount of RS.10, 000/-. and ask me to pay the same. Kindly look in to the matter and advise them to consider the cost of the vehicle as per their order booking dated.25-03 (old price).
